As all reviews say this vacuum cleaner is very powerful. I bought it because another website recommended it for use on Berber rugs. I have doubts. I wonder if the strong suction can damage the carpet. As many reviewers point out, the powerful suction makes it difficult to move the nozzle across the carpet surface. Almost impossible to use on carpets (it swallows them). It would be better if it had different speeds. I agree this is great for hardwood or tile floors (to get dust out of crevices) but not carpet. Other things I didn't like: It has a long hose and short cord; I prefer to do the opposite. The floor/carpet nozzle is simply attached (not fixed); Therefore, it sometimes falls off when vacuuming. The cord reel is capricious (you need to carefully insert the cord). Also, the vacuum cleaner is bulky and takes up too much space in my closet.
