Review on πŸ”Œ DEEGO Ethernet Gigabit Shielded Connector: Enhanced Performance and Reliability by Dave Russell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what I needed.

I bought 3 of these 6ft cables1 to go router to computer1 to go router to laptop dock1 to go modem to router. I could have used a 3ft for this but didn't have stock of that size but should anything change with my setup it will work fine. I upgraded from CAT 5 to this CAT 8. For this setup setup was quick and easy and my speed has noticeably increased. I bought a 1,100 foot cable to run up the wall and through the attic to my wife's computer in the living room. I probably laid the original cable 25 years ago when I was much younger and smaller. I figured I could tie the wires together and just run them through the wall and attic. Great idea, but evident when I originally drilled large enough holes in the top panels to do this. The ends of CAT 8 cables are slightly longer than the old ones. This cable was what prompted the purchase from the start, this computer kept losing network connectivity and driving my wife crazy. After changing the cable, she has no connection problems and the computer is faster than ever. Mom is happy, so everyone is happy. :DI bought 150 feet of wire to run in his son's room. This works around the baseboard and can use clips to secure it in place. Not part of the assessment. I also bought a meat thermometer for under $100. The price was very good. The delivery was 2 days later, so I'm happy with it. I would recommend them to others.
