I bought one of these a while back and hooked it up to my bait tank. This particular aerator has a rated capacity of 35 gallons. I pumped it up for a bait tank I built that holds 200 gallons. It pumps a lot of air for its size. I've only used it in cool weather and I know it won't be enough as the temperature rises. I am modifying a bait tank to hold two of these pumps combined with two Rule 500 GPH bilge pumps used to make a homemade water filter out of 4 inch PVC pipe. Between spraying the bilge water on the water and this aerator, enough oxygen is created in the water to keep 800-1000 bass alive over 6 weeks. You'll need to clean the tank, filters, ducts, and rocks from time to time, but that's to be expected.
