Review on New Balance Womens Minimus Running Sports & Fitness by Anden Turn

I had three pairs of New Balance Minimus running shoes and one pair of running shoes. I thought these were my favorite sneakers until they were discontinued. I've always worn a 6.5 so I ordered this one (my usual shoe size is 5.5). I may have duds, but they're not like the others. You are too small! There's no room in the normally roomy toe box, and the strip that runs across the top runs uncomfortably tight just above my toes. I'm thinking about ordering 7 but I don't know if that will help. The sock doesn't even look like the advertised photos - it's very short (see my photo). On the inside of the boot there is barely a quarter inch of webbing between the band that runs through the upper and the visibility at the toe. It seems that to create a "small" size, they simply trim the toes rather than making the whole shoe proportional. I am so confused by this shoe. And disappointed.
