Very narrow trail running shoe

These shoes are great but very narrow. I have narrow feet and some are too narrow. I hated returning them because otherwise they are so comfortable.

Pros
  • Vibram outsole offers excellent traction. Vibram is a registered trademark of VIBRAM SpA. All rights reserved.
Cons
  • No instructions

I recommend for people with calf problems

I've always had calf pain when I ran no matter what I did and for the first time in 25 years I can run, that's probably the truth , Walking barefoot is better for your feet and legs, and it feels like walking barefoot with really good comfort.

Pros
  • Synthetic/mesh upper
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Minimus Modified

I've been wearing New Balance Minimus & Merrell Barefoot for at least 8/9 years. Minimus has gone through many changes over the years, and for me they just got worse. This last pair is very stiff and uncomfortable, nothing like the previous styles. I will send these back.

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • Expensive

What the hell? Not like it used to be...

I had three pairs of New Balance Minimus running shoes and one pair of running shoes. I thought these were my favorite sneakers until they were discontinued. I've always worn a 6.5 so I ordered this one (my usual shoe size is 5.5). I may have duds, but they're not like the others. You are too small! There's no room in the normally roomy toe box, and the strip that runs across the top runs uncomfortably tight just above my toes. I'm thinking about ordering 7 but I don't know if that will help…

Pros
  • Vibram sole
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Exactly what I was looking for in a minimalist sneaker.

I only started running 1.5 years ago, 99% outdoors and I'm 5-10km 3-4 times a week. My first pair of specialty shoes were the Nike Frees. Since I spent half my time in flip-flops and half barefoot, other shoes with more structure were just too uncomfortable to wear, forcing my natural arch into odd positions, preventing my toes from splaying and increasing instability generate with large droplets. A bit like a thick rubber-soled sock, the Nike Free was great for running on trails and relatively
