Review on Stant Stainless Steel OE Thermostat by Deron Gilliam

This thermostat works great. Before installing, my car's temperature stayed around 212-213 degrees while driving. Now my temperature rarely exceeds 196 degrees. Installation is easy. There are only 2 screws on the flange, then you simply pull out the old one and insert the new one. Easy. Note: Make sure you get the piston in the correct position, otherwise the thermostat may not work properly and the engine may overheat. Additional Tips: You can use a 1/2" or 13mm socket I think. I also recommend removing the plastic engine cover and also removing the electrical connector from the intake manifold to gain access to the bolts I also added a Fel-Pro thermostat gasket myself because my old thermostat was leaking coolant. The thermostat has a rubber gasket around it. but I wanted to be reassured that it would never leak again. Good luck and good luck to everyone Journey.
