UPDATE: After a few months of using this and a few different combinations of connecting what to what, this works (for the most part). My screens go blank on me intermittently so it's kind of irritating but more like frustrating when I am actively working on the screen that goes out. It comes back on after a few seconds but enough to throw off whatever groove I am in. If I didn't miss the return timeline for this, it would have gone back.Issues when using with Windows (Dell laptop with USB-C) single headed cable. Objective is to have a single dock for both my Dell and MacBook Pro to interchange on.First, this offers PD but does not come with a power supply and cable of its own- so you need to reuse what comes with your MacBook or other USB Type C charger your laptop came with. In my case, I’m using my MacBook Pro charger because it’s 87w. Sucks to have to leave this charger plugged in all the time as part of getting a docking station is to free up your other resources.Second, when using with Dell laptop, I can’t get power to charge the laptop when plugging into Host 1, only Host 2 so it’s counterintuitive.Third, when plugged into Host 1, I can get the HDMI 1 to work but nothing else, not even a charge- again, counterintuitive. I’m order to get a charge, I have to plug laptop into Host 2 which at that point HDMI 1 is not recognized. So, to get power, HDMI 2 or 3, and the rest of the USB stuff to work, I need to plug into Host 2 and move HDMI to 2 or 3.This thing is counterintuitive and these are my frustrations listed after having it for 30 minutes. Good thing is I just plugged in my MacBook Pro and this all still works.
