Review on Pulaski Queen Upholstered Bed In Linen - 83" X 68.5" X 51" Shelter Back Design by Mike Pearson

Unstable and poor quality

I love the color. I dislike that the mattress supports have broken in less that one year of gentle use. I was willing to look past the poor quality such as nailheads that were uneven and irregularly placed, as well as the holes that did not line up correctly for initial installation, in favor of the pretty color and overall look at a fair price point. This was a mistake because the piece has been slowly falling apart one screw hole at a time. I believe if the construction materials were more sturdy like wood (as the description states) instead of a soft material made of glue and wood shavings, then this would not be an issue. The bed was used with one 150lb adult for 7 months and another 180lb adult for additional 3 months before it fell apart.

Pros
  • Burnished brass nailhead trim adds a compelling element of traditional texture
Cons
  • The linen material may become discolored over time with prolonged exposure to sunlight
