Solid lubricant for MARS and pistols in combination with other products

After the lubricant arrived I went to the range and tested it. There was no odor or noticeable smoke emanating from the product. The lube is pretty good, although it doesn't compare to more expensive lubes like Hornady. It is a suitable lubricant for difficult areas where the bolt carrier is BCG compliant. I have to mention two things: Pollution. The lubricant does not prevent carbon formation and is therefore more suitable for components not exposed to prolonged fire where carbon deposits are more severe. It's just a lubricant, after all. In cold weather, the viscosity was slightly higher. Once the gun was warmed up, fat dripped from the spoon, like hot oil. I would suggest this as a last resort if you really need the glide over regular CLP. Second point: viscosity. I've already mentioned how this works, but that's where I have to stop. In cold, dry climates, drying oil sprays such as Ballistol should be used. A lubricant should be used in hot and humid climates. Ordinary oil has no place in firearms. Thin oil is not good for storing a gun; causing the oil to flow and drain into a gravitational embrace. That being said I believe this should be used in addition to drying oil spray, CLP or lube. By extending this to high friction areas in addition to the above suggestions, the friction factor is severely negated. I've experimented with separate tops. Same ammo type, barrel length and gas tube length/pressure, and BCG. I ran a top with only lube. One with fat and fat. One with CLP and lube. One with Ballistol and lube. In my dry, cold climate, Ballistol and lube worked flawlessly. The contamination was noticeable even though the assembly was not sticking at all. Second, the CLP and lube worked well. After 400 turns, the BCG became sluggish as the CLP finished more slowly, leaving room for contamination. Worst of all was the lubrication. I had a double feeding due to dirty BCG guides. The accumulated carbon is sufficient to measure 0.008g of contamination after scraping the surface with a polymer card and extracting the oil from the scraper. The perfect combination. Be smart. Use different combinations for different climates. One with fat and fat. One with CLP and lube. One with Ballistol and lube. In my dry, cold climate, Ballistol and lube worked flawlessly. Very thin oil, good bottle. Not the best for knives.
