I bought the USBC version directly from Astropad. It's neat when it works. I just won't use it when I'm online. My personal use was to make my late 2014 iMac 27 an additional monitor for my M1 MacBook Air. The software is easy to use and install and is regularly updated. But it seems that some video intensive programs crash or crash. In my case I use the OBS studio as a virtual camera for live broadcasts and sometimes also in zoom. I've come to the conclusion that it's more reliable to use normal old-style screen sharing. When the Luna display is plugged in, it gets shaky. When it works, all OBS scenes are pixelated. I even decided to update my OS thinking it would help. So the MacBook is in Monterey and the iMac is running Catalini. I have to force shut down regularly and restart my MacBook more often than I should. Although it could also be something else. I'll keep trying and update my review if it works, but I can't risk crashing while streaming or live streaming. The real answer is to buy an actual monitor. I can use the Luna display to run my iPad as a secondary monitor. It was worth it.
