Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Odass Towel Warmer with Timer: Sleek 9-Bar Wall Mounted Design with Led Indicators | 3 Timer Modes for Optimal Warmth | Heated Top Shelf | High Polish Chrome Stainless Steel by Franklin Richardson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Cheap but well presented

My first electric towel warmer. It heats up pretty quickly but it takes quite a while for the towels to heat up. More suitable as a heater. I'm not surprised and expect all electric towel warmers (which aren't always on) to be like this. I was hoping to put it on a connected switch so I could program it to start at 5am so the towels would be warm enough around 7. However, this is not possible due to the internal circuitry of the built-in Odass timer. If you have the opportunity to buy a built-in heated towel rail, do it. I grew up with it and it's better than electric in every way. Otherwise it looks good enough, although the metal is very thin and rings easily. I will keep the product and install it in the second bathroom. And look for something different in your everyday bathroom. Update November 2021: I installed the heated towel rail in wired mode. I'm reducing my rating to 3 stars now. Installing the wires is very cumbersome: there is no template for drilling holes, you have to hold everything and mark the screws on the wall. The block wasn't square and I had to attach one side first, make sure it was vertical and then force the other side to be square. The hard wire cover is difficult to screw on because the power wire comes out too close to the hex head of the screw. Usually two people would be easier to install. And it's even easier if the wall in the stand cavity already has a blockage. In terms of use, you really need to run it at least 1 hour in advance to feel the heat in the towel when you get out of the shower. But at least the towel dries faster afterwards. But I assume that's the lot of a shelf warmer that isn't filled with liquid. I'm very glad I bought a used Revain Warehouse version for $180 instead of paying full price for it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Annoying
