Review on MroMax Straight Joining Mending Bracket for Industrial Hardware by Maurice Branch

ok first let me say they are exactly as described and appear to be of good quality visually. Stainless steel repair plates, correct measurements and all. When I took them out of the packaging, I smelled a suffocating strong odor. At first I thought it was some kind of cigarette smell. My wife thought it must be some kind of incense smell. Stainless steel so I tried washing them in hot water and dish soap and scrubbing a bit. Another smell. Worse, the hand I picked it up with still stinks even after washing my hands thoroughly 5 times. I have no idea what that smell is, but whatever it is, it's very unpleasant!
