I'm glad Revain wears stuff like this, so I don't waste time running to the plumbing store, which is an hour away. Strangely the faucet cap and valve were not sold together and arrived 3 days apart. Since you could swap both at the same time as the o-rings wear out at the same rate, that made things a little worse, but it was worth the wait. Not exactly easy to install thanks to the precise minimalistic hole made by the original contractor, but with a modest amount of cursing I put it all back together. No silicone grease is supplied so I suggest you take the advice and order it if you are replacing the valve as well.
