The ball joint is very strong. Good price. The carrier packed the trailer ball mount and heavy-duty ball in a box about 10 times larger than it should be, with no packaging to prevent the super-heavy contents from hitting and breaking the box during transportation. Fortunately the contents were not damaged but the box was destroyed. If a shipper takes pride in their product, they should take pride in preventing damage during transit.
