Mikasa is a respected fine dining company. This set is very cool. They don't look like the typical black plastic-handled steak knives! Vintage Bead is a beautiful classic pattern. The set goes well with our unpatterned Lenox cookware. I love that they are dishwasher safe, but I recommend hand washing to be safe. The knives are no different from normal knives, but cut very well, as you would expect from a steak knife. This set will enhance any dining room. The napkin in the photos is from our dining room in the kitchen. So you can see how you can look formal or casual with this set. This set would make a great wedding gift.
