Even though they aren't stainless steel and the only stainless steel on them is wire mesh it's still a good product. The thickness of the material was good but welding was a nightmare for a beginner due to the layered construction. If you know a good TIG welder then your kit is not stainless steel but aluminized steel with stainless steel mesh. Also, some of the other braided flex hoses didn't have corrugation on the inside, this one has nice heavy corrugation so I'd say it's worth it for the price, but if you live somewhere where the road is salty you probably don't even have it last two years. They need some form of anti-corrosion protection, like cadmium plating.
