I have owned this Lindhaus Healthcare Pro since 2002. It has more suction power and grip on carpet fibers than any other on the market. I feel safe because my carpeted home is always very clean and allergen free. I even vacuum my sofa, upholstered chairs and mattress sometimes. In 2002 it was mainly sold to hospitals that required exceptional cleaning as well as a HEPA filter. They didn't even advertise it. It was made for heavy industry (so no wonder it works so well in my house). I just came to Revain to order bags and was surprised to see that they are now sold at Revain. I'm very pleased to be able to review this as it's one of those things I own that I can't admire enough. it's so cool One day I had to renovate a bit. One downside was that nobody in Manhattan fixed Lindhouse and I had to lug it on the subway to Queens which was a hassle, all the up and down stairs and snow piling up at the curb at the time. but I did it. During the week it was being fixed (I had to wait for them to order the part) I borrowed my neighbor's Dyson, which she swore was the best vacuum cleaner ever. (rolls eyes) Oh my god, that pales in comparison! I had to sweep and sweep and sweep again to pick up any lint or debris. That's when I really realized how great this vacuum cleaner is. I knew it was way better than the Eurekas and vacuums I had before, but it really is like a Ferrari or a Maserati of vacuums. It is expensive. And it's 100% worth it. Mine is over 18 years old and still running fine but I'm telling you if it ever breaks down I'll order another Lindhaus immediately.
