The package I received has two gray clips and no black clip. While the front of the silver clip is smooth, the back is covered in rust where the internal spring mechanism contacts the front bar. Both gray clips (again there should only be one) have imperfections in the front bar finish and may have escaped rusting only because part of the spring mechanism is not actually making contact with the back of the front bar. I will be returning these tie clips and doubt that others in stock are of higher quality.
