So this is the second set of folding brackets I've bought and installed on the folding table next to the washer/dryer. The first set was about $20 less for a pair, and while I had high hopes, they were too good to be true. It's a whole different class. Where the first set weighs about 2 pounds each, they easily weigh 5 pounds each. The wall mount side has 5 mounting holes (the other had 3), the latch is at the very end of these mounts, which is much better than the others (where the latch was 6 inches in the center of the mount). this makes it fussy to reach and dodge). The first set couldn't even withstand the main weight, and the side structures bent - BENT! - Release the bracket, causing the shelf to tip forward. Ridiculous. There is simply no comparison - and still an incredible value. They are so strong and so easy to install. What a great product! Very happy with it.
