I used this to replace the switch on my Milwaukee heat gun that I have had for over 15 years. Fits snugly and now "YEA" lights up on the switch. Nice solid switch, bought 10 for the price of 2 at the local electronics store. The first switch worked fine the first time I used the heat gun (about 1 hour). When I tried to use it for the second time, sparks flew out of the switch housing. I opened the case and found that the two connectors touched and melted. I thought maybe it was my fault for not having enough spacing between the wires. I replaced the switch and put the gun away to make sure it worked. I put an insulator between the terminals to keep them from shorting out again. The next time I used the gun, it worked perfectly. I needed it today to dry the washable filter in my shop vacuum. I plugged it in, turned it on and nothing happened. I took it apart and found the switch had melted and when I tried to pull out one of the wires the connector ripped right out of the switch and the inside turned into a molten ball. Don't waste your money on this switch! If this were used in an uncontrolled application it would most likely start a fire!
