I bought this to give my laptop extra cooling and to put it higher up so I can reach the keys more easily. It worked fine for a few months. Note that the design is VERY crappy, to say the least. The USB ports are loose and move around inside the case. Use as an extra USB port is not allowed as they will not remain connected. I wasn't happy but the fans worked so I'm fine. Then, about a month ago, the fans got really loud. I would unplug the USB and then plug it back in and the noise would go away. It gradually got worse. I used a blower to remove the dust. It remained quiet, but eventually the noise returned. I am checking the fans this morning and the two large side fans are not working at all. They're completely dead. My return window expired over two months ago. I am beyond annoyed. I'll order a low six from another company, that junk. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy this CRASH!
