With inexpensive clothes, the length is often scaled down in smaller sizes, I am well aware of that, but it was unexpected with this item because of the picture and reviews. I ordered the Army Green in XS, and it is a great color, I would've been so happy had this dress fit. The photo shows a lower-waisted, narrower dress than what I received. I had also read the reviews carefully and reviewers similar height and similar weight to mine (I'm 5'6" and 115 lbs) stated that the waist wasn't too high in the XS. The dress I got was too short, the waist too high, and the cut too wide below the waist. If you're petite, I would recommend this dress. If you're average height and wear a larger size, I would recommend this dress. If you're over 5'3" and wear a smaller size, based on the dress I received, it's probably not going to fit right. One other thing - wouldn't have been a deal breaker for me- the racerback isn't very pronounced, does not look like the photo.
