Update: The seller swaps out the light with no issues but still checks the top seal as it is very thin and I had a tiny crease and it wasn't installed properly. I would also make sure the bolts are evenly tightened and I will add a small drop of sealant. If this lid leaks, everything will get wet and the water will be difficult to dry. The thin gasket is made of high quality silicone, just not installed properly. While it worked it was amazing and in fact it continued to work even when there was a lot of water in the lens area. It may be design related, but there is an unsealed hole in the top bay that the wires from the top bay go through to the LED on the bottom. Perhaps if there is a leak you end up seeing water on the lens as it flows from top to bottom and the electronics stay drier. I'm not sure, but there's still a lot of water over the transformer.
