Do not use power tools with it.

The thing is garbage! Don't use it with power tools, your drill will break it. The head of the screw does not withstand the force and cracks, and the dowel gets half stuck in the wall. Also, the screw threat isn't strong enough to cut drywall. Don't buy this.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Not the best quality but doable

I shouldn't complain because the price is great for what you get, but be aware that when installing have to be careful. The inside (cross/cross part) of plastic anchors is soft/cheap so it's easy to remove when tightening the anchor in the wall, making it harder if you ever need to remove the anchor.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Don't like it, everything is fine

Half of them broke at best in clasps

Before anyone says I probably didn't use them properly, let me assure you I did. I drilled a hole in the drywall before adding the anchors. I'd say about half of the anchors only ended up halfway into the drywall before having to be removed and discarded. The submissions were great, but the fact that more than half was wasted was a little frustrating, not to mention my project took a lot longer than it should have.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Half of them are either too soft or too hard. They will slow down or bite.

These are junk, I threw away about half of them because they either slow down or roll over a little making them useless. I was able to install another one in the same hole but it lost its grip, these plugs were meant to be installed the first time. If you buy them, make sure you use the largest screwdriver possible for a tight fit, although they can also break. They also need to be pre-drilled, they will break if I try to use them as bits. (It's designed for that)

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • No

Cheap product - scrape it off

Tried the product by first drilling a hole, then driving the dowel into the wall to the thread and screwing into the drywall with a drill. The first immediately blew off the crosshead so I tried the second with more pressure at a lower speed - same result. Thought maybe the drill was providing too much torque and repeated the process but with a hand screwdriver. The same result telling me these anchors are crap. Do not buy. I throw the whole box in the trash.

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • I'll get back to you later

Oops, they didn't work for me at all!

I wanted to try these because they cost ten times less than similar rock bolts at Lowes. God what a bummer, the first one I tried to put in broke my wall and didn't even stay inside. Sure, my walls are 30 years old, but they shouldn't be! For the price, I'll tell you to try them, but be careful not to try them in an important area. Maybe try your basement and see. I can't understand why they don't work as well as the big store. Maybe the plastic is cheap and too malleable. Lowes' goes straightโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

BUYER WARNING Don't waste your money and time.

Although I've had great success with this dowel in the past, this product is like any other and wasted time and damaged walls. Varying quality plastics and will either melt or snap in half when drilling 3/8" drywall, or the included screws will get stuck halfway into the installed "anchor" causing the anchor and screw to rotate as a unit . I ended up having to remove and discard the anchors and then use Simpson Strong-Tie Flip Toggles in place of the 1/2 holes the ruined anchors left on myโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
