Review on 3D MAXpider Second Row Custom Fit All-Weather Floor Mat For Select Honda Ridgeline Models - Kagu Rubber (Gray) by Marcus Britton

When I bought my truck it had original Honda All Weather floor mats. Initially I was very happy with it because I thought I had excellent mats and didn't need to look for non-original ones. Unfortunately, although Honda floor mats are made of high quality rubber and stay in place well, they cover very few critical areas. In particular, part of the carpet under the driver's feet is barely covered. The downside quickly became apparent only on rainy days, but living in an area that gets a lot of snow, I knew they wouldn't help me. (Photo 1) I researched the options available and looked at the WeatherTech, Husky, Max Liner options and these 3D MAXpider mats. I've had WeatherTech floor mats in the past and been happy with them, but recently a friend bought some for GMC and they don't stay in place at all, so I ruled them out for fear of an overall degradation in product quality. After reading the reviews and looking at the photos of others, I settled on the 3D MAXpider. Just getting the new floor mats and comparing them to the Honda floor mats put a big smile on my face. With a Honda mat on the 3D MAXpider, it's easy to see how much ground is being covered. (Photo 2). Installing the mats took some effort to get in the right place as the backing is like a Velcro hook and desperately wants to snag the carpet. I see this as a huge plus as these mats cannot move once you have them where you want them. And after laying, you can see immediately how well the carpet is now weatherproof. (Photo 3) My only reservation about purchasing these mats was that they had an "embossed carbon fiber pattern" on them. I was concerned that the indentations would have dirt, small rocks, etc. would trap and be difficult to clean. However, this is not the case at all and I have found these rugs to be very easy to clean. I am completely satisfied with these mats after about a month and a half. I don't know yet how well they hold up over the years but based on my experience I would definitely recommend them.
