This is a good watercolor paper for the price, 50 sheets is a lot to start with if you are new to painting on a 24x36 paper that is it so but if you are a master artist use 140 lb paper as that is the standard for top quality paper. I saved about $30 on 90 lb paper instead of 140 lb paper, so I just put the savings into additional artist supplies. I've made many good mixed media paintings on this paper using watercolor and acrylic paint, the watercolor has curled a bit around the edges, but if you put it in a frame or take it to the printer, no one will notice later. For the price it's a good deal but if you want to pay for a higher quality £140 paper go for it!
