It tears really easily.

Very thin. It tears really easily. I decided to give it a try based on the review I read and it might work for you if you don't stretch the paper before use or paint with very little water. My style is to use water and paint wet on wet. Once I got over the stretch, which was done very carefully, I didn't have time to stretch for 10-15 minutes before the paper ripped.

Good watercolor paper for the price

This is a good watercolor paper for the price, 50 sheets is a lot to start with if you are new to painting on a 24x36 paper that is it so but if you are a master artist use 140 lb paper as that is the standard for top quality paper. I saved about $30 on 90 lb paper instead of 140 lb paper, so I just put the savings into additional artist supplies. I've made many good mixed media paintings on this paper using watercolor and acrylic paint, the watercolor has curled a bit around the edges, but if…
