This is a good watercolor paper for the price, 50 sheets is a lot to start with if you are new to painting on a 24" x 36" area " are This is a 90 lb paper so that's it, but if you are a master artist use 140 lb paper as that is the standard for the highest quality paper. I saved about $30 on 90 lb paper instead of 140 lb paper, so I just invested the savings in additional painting supplies. I've made many good mixed media paintings on this paper using watercolor and acrylic paint, the watercolor was a bit curled around the edges, but if you put it in a frame or take it to the printer, no one will notice the difference later. It's a good deal for the price, but if you want to pay for a higher quality £140 paper, go for it!
