I bought one of these from Petco for about $7. I didn't realize how much I had to press to get the clicking with my original simple style clicker. I saw one of these container style clickers at Petco when I was originally shopping for clickers, but just didn't want to spend the money. After using the first clicker for a few days, I broke down and bought this one. I'm glad I did. Its height is about 2 3/4 inches from the base to the top of the cap and about 1.5 inches at the widest point from the back of the clip to the front of the stem; 1 3/16 for the keg itself. There is a gap of about 0.05 inch or 1.4mm between the canister and the clamp at the nearest pinch point. The clicker has a rounded bottom. My treat bag has side pockets on each side that can be used for bags of poo or whatever, so I keep it zipped in the right side pocket. There's a certain game where the clicker can slide up and down the pocket, but I haven't lost that yet. When using this clicker, I can rotate the holes toward my palm for a softer/quieter click, or away from my palm for a louder click. I can hold the clicker in the "Feed Bag" area and click, just like in the exchanger. I also find this clicker pretty easy to use and of course operated by pressing the top button down with your thumb. I still have my original clicker which I will keep in my treat bag in case it breaks. I was thinking about making a strap to hold it in my palm so I can open my palm and hold the clicker in my hand, but haven't gotten to it yet. Because of the versatility for me (good to hold, can be turned up or down with the palm of your hand, can be used by holding it or put it in a fancy bag) I would definitely buy it again while this one lasts a while .
