I just received this device and it was easy to set up. Input is via the keyboard on top and all software is encapsulated in epoxy in a sturdy aluminum case. After logging in, my new Windows 7 machine downloads music files at around 70MB/s, which is good for such an encrypted drive. All of my images also load at around 70MB/s. However, you cannot use the Windows 7 backup feature with this drive because it is a 4K sector size drive, which is the new standard. It will pause during the backup and show an I/O error while the backup tries to create a system image. Windows 7 uses the old sector allocation size of 512 bytes. This is a fairly common experience right now due to the transition from 512 to 4096 sectors. I still give 5 stars because it's just a minor inconvenience for me.
