Before the product arrived I had concerns that the area would be too small for any type of "lawn". would. , and potentially short-lived. Having received the item a few weeks ago, I am pleased to report that both concerns were unfounded. Every "third" of the mat is large enough to comfortably swing (and sometimes miss) the stick. Unless you're a bad shot, you shouldn't have a problem staying in each section. To give you an idea of the size, imagine a very long shoe box and that's roughly two dimensional for any type of lawn. In terms of durability - after a few hundred swings, mostly without using a tee, I can say the product seems to be holding up great. Of course I can't say how it will hold up over time and I installed it outside so it will rain/snow at some point but I'm sure it will last. Overall I am very satisfied and would highly recommend this product to anyone who plays golf occasionally or even seriously. A small set of effective size.
