Buy this and you'll be lucky, lucky, lucky. Well at least glad you did! The original Samsung controller basically just frustrated me - it always seemed reprogrammed to other DVD models or just didn't work at all. For better or worse, when it was "lost" (it turned out to be a great thing), I ordered a Gvirtue AK59-00149A and never got it back. Well, to be honest, you'll need to provide two of your own AAA batteries (no big deal), and there's no manual. Who even looks at the manuals? A nice touch is that it also has controls for my Samsung Smart TV - cool! Give it a try - you'll love it, and if you were disappointed with the original Samsung controller, you'll love it :)
