Great for all my floors. It's actually better than the vacuum on my kitchen floor as it reaches hard-to-reach spots to clean them better. I have a congoleum floor so a dry mop and using an aerosol cleaner with a "wet" rag will make it shine! It's true that it doesn't pick up some of the larger particles, but it collects all the smaller particles in one spot so you can pick up the larger particles with a handheld vacuum. I threw away all the other pugs. It's also perfect for my pine floors. A handwritten note from the family business was a plus.
