Amazing shampoo. I have been using Mane 'n Tail for many years. People still give me weird looks when I say I use horse shampoo on my own hair, but gosh it works great! I have thin strands of hair, but there are many, so my hair is thick. I have naturally curly/wavy hair that I often heat treat, but my main goal is to let it grow out for as long as possible. Mane 'n Tail is very helpful in reducing and repairing damaged hair and makes my hair grow like weeds! I have found that this shampoo combined with daily biotin helps my hair grow better than anything else I have tried. This shampoo is also very helpful in reducing the amount of hair washing. It gently cleanses my hair without leaving a greasy or waxy residue, which means I can only wash my hair twice a week. This is a huge heavy bottle, not suitable for travel but one bottle lasts me at least 10-12 months. It saves me a lot of money and a lot of plastic waste from small shampoo bottles. It's also so accessible. I like it more than any salon or drugstore brand so the cost effectiveness is another reason I love this shampoo. Bonus - I ran out of dog shampoo when my pup was in desperate need of a bath. Judging by the brand's website, it's completely safe for cats and dogs (not surprising since it's marketed as a horse shampoo).
