I really liked that the collar has reflective properties. Unfortunately, I see my parents' dog, my dog's littermate, 4 times a week. Just by playing together, it got worse in a few days. It was frayed, the Velcro had snapped and was barely holding up. The name tag I put on the collar was torn off. I wanted to love this collar. I bought khaki. The velcro area is not long enough for a standard military name tape. I wish it didn't fall apart like that. This would definitely be a decent collar if it had been made at least 2 weeks before it fell apart. The handle is pretty durable and useful. The collar is a little big, although I measured my dog it's still a little big and doesn't stay tight when adjusted to the minimum. All in all, this can be a good buy if your dog isn't playing. many or not keep a rough house with other animals. It's really big so be careful. Also, if you intend to use name tape, be aware that the sizing is wrong and the tape will hang down about 1 inch or more from each side.
