. It's been years since we didn't even have a printer. We now have children and we have found that we need one more and one more. I feel like you get a lot for the price of the printer. The quality is good and we've never had any problems with it. We print wirelessly from Android phones, my wife's Mac Air, and my Windows work laptop. I suspect the price is low because they want you to buy their ink, but to be honest we buy inks from other manufacturers at a pretty low price and they work just fine. Ink cartridges are damaged. Finally, I found a statement from HP's COO saying that the update was not well received by its customers and that they blamed it on a lack of third-party security chips. I don't believe this explanation. THIS IS ONLY BLACK! It doesn't need "security chips" if you don't want people to buy elsewhere. HP has released an optional firmware update that you can find on their website. In my opinion this update wouldn't be optional if they really cared, they would put it out the same way they put out their sneaky update. HP, you just converted my 5 star rating to 1 star and I will not be purchasing your products again.
