While many reviewers claim it has surge protectors, I see no proof of that. The box and bottom label say this is an extension cord only. There are no joules at all. There is no warranty or insurance protection in the event of overvoltage. While it's a good power strip with USB charging ports, I suggest the seller (Topway) prove it has surge protection. Edit: I got a reply from Topway. This product does NOT have surge protection. They updated the description and apologized for the misleading information. So if I'm rating this on a normal power strip WITHOUT surge protection, I'll increase it to 5 stars.
