I ride a recumbent trike every day of my life. I love these tyres. At first WA was a little concerned they would delay me too much but wanted the guards to resist the stickers. I didn't buy Marathon Plus tires because I've had them before and they're heavy and I was SO SLOW on them even though they're more puncture resistant than these. However, they are rated fairly well for puncture resistance. I've been using Schwalabe Tryker tires since they came out around 2011 and I liked them but wanted something more puncture resistant. I had two of them in a week on the road and not on the bike path so I figured I was done with them. But to be honest they had 3,000 miles on them so I shouldn't even complain about that. It was just time for a change and I'm glad I switched to a more puncture resistant tire which makes me feel safer to drive as I can't change a tyre.
