Excellent for colored pencils!

I usually buy a Strathmore Bristol Vellum for colored pencil work, but at $8 for 20 sheets it got a little pricey, especially if I just wanted to sketch or experiment with color. I came across this stuff at WM and decided to give it a try and all I can say is WOW! I'm excited! It's a nice bright white, smooth and with enough toothing for colored pencils. It also does a VERY good job of mixing solvents. I mainly use paint thinner and a Prismacolor marker mixer to blend my pencil work and this paper works well in multiple layers. It's also great for pen and ink drawings (no bleed) as one side is a little smoother than the other. I usually combine pen, ink and colored pencil and the toothier side is just right for that. too wet for anything. Altogether 5.98 for 250 sheets of near art quality paper is an absolute bargain price. Now this is my favorite paper and I will buy many more. I print to a cheap little Canon Pixma and it prints just fine with no jams.
