Excellent quality! Much better than aftermarket gas caps at the auto parts store. My car, which I recently bought from the first owner, had a non-locking gas cap and I wanted it to be closed. After trying one from the auto parts store, I realized I needed a factory cap instead. It fits my 1998 Ford Windstar, although Revane has stated it does not fit my car. Actually Revain stated the FC1005 was for my car but I knew the cable on this one that bolts on is not for my car. My car takes a cable that snaps in like the FC1004. After doing a lot of research online, I found out that the Ford model number listed on their website for my $63 car they had was replaced with this specific part number (a few part numbers later, actually). I then contacted the Ford dealer to confirm this. I wouldn't have to go through all of these issues if Revain worked together to ensure which cars actually matched the caps they sell. But I was happy with their price for this cap! Pull yourself together, Raven! I've read other comments here that they ordered this cover and it doesn't fit their cars despite saying they would. According to Ford, it was an exact replacement for my car, and they were right. But you said it's not for my car.
