I can't afford Athena but I buy Athena filtered water in liters at my yoga center and drink it constantly for 2 months. I love it! The reason I started using this water is because it is the only system I have found that removes fluoride (though not nearly as much fluoride as a reverse osmosis system) from non-reverse osmosis water. (which also strips everything else - good minerals - and deprives our body of what it needs). The benefits I've seen from drinking this water so far are as follows: 1. It tastes really great - I used to put lemon in the water as I didn't like the taste but not anymore. 2. I feel much more hydrated! 3. My brain fog is finally clearing. I'm changing my review - over 2 years later because this filter is too expensive for people to buy and it doesn't remove enough fluoride. Even the liter jars I filled at my yoga center were overpriced ($5 a gallon). I pay less ($3.50) for a 5 gallon bottle of amazing natural spring water supplied to me by my mom and a pop company (not a conglomerate).
