Great benefit in my review

This screen has stunning image with many options and settings. However, there is a caveat. Samsung knows how to make a screen. This screen will show you if you were new to the brand. Product assembly is smart, using the shipping carton as the base, and requires a single Phillips screwdriver (you've been warned). It sets up in minutes with a heavy metal base, mounting arm and three cables needed for full functionality. A power cord (standard PC), an HDMI cable, and a USB cable for the hub. The care taken in the instructions and assembly is also reflected in the overall design. Menus are easy to navigate thanks to the large rubberized control mechanism on the underside of the monitor (shown). The device pans smoothly and rotates in portrait or landscape mode. These functions just work. No unexpected twists and turns. On the back and left side of the screen is a hub with three USB ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Practical. They work via the aforementioned USB cable connected to the monitor. The meeting ends the moment you look at the screen. Very little light. Dark black. High contrast. bleeding brightness. Narrow pixel count (1440p at 24 inches). This screen guard. Switch the settings to gaming mode and the colors will sting your retinas (they might actually be too bright). Increase the Response Speed in the menu and this thing can play games (or make movies) really well. However, despite the natural quality of the screen, this is not a device on which you should try to use the HDR function. This is disappointing. Not only does it not properly emphasize light and dark areas, it also reveals the fine structure of the light grid. Just turn it off. life is better I don't normally expect strong HDR from most backlit screens. I didn't include it in the rating. The missing asterisk is due to the strange behavior of this monitor when switching tasks. Starting (or stopping) a full-screen video, entering or exiting a game, or any number of other actions. During focus-based tasks, the screen briefly goes black before coming back to life. It's almost like he switched inputs. The current input is displayed in the same way in the top left corner and the menu controls will flash for a few seconds as if you've forgotten how to manoeuvre. This is the behavior I expected from a resolution change or an actual input change, but it happened every time I switched tasks (apparently without a crash) during normal use. To solve this problem I tried updating the drivers and tested different settings (but I wasn't exhaustive). I don't think this behavior harms the monitor or is a sign of a malfunction. It just seems like an odd design choice. This may be due to a setting I couldn't find, but research proved difficult to narrow down (which isn't the case) due to other monitor issues related to flicker. I can recommend this monitor for its great utility and beautiful picture. As a companion screen, it will (literally) shine. Vertically, it can work with text, and built-in eye protection features help with documents. The resolution is short here. The screen is great for viewing content or as a gaming monitor for those who don't mind the size and just above a decent refresh rate. Just be aware of the mentioned issue.
