The Samsung S60A 27-inch QHD monitor is a clear winner in the work monitor market. I bought this model to replace my existing LG Ultrawide monitor which I use to edit all my videos. Of course, the next step was higher resolution and more accurate color reproduction from an IPS screen with an integrated display port, and that's exactly what this Samsung S60A offers. This monitor has many positive and noteworthy features and only a few negative ones, but before that, a few words about the packaging and presentation. The monitor comes in a plain box that doesn't have a lot of flashy advertising on it, but all Samsung's business-class monitors come in boxes like this one, and the screen inside is well-protected with thick foam rubber that can be used in transit can endure a lot. Mine arrived broken but still protected screen inside. In addition to the monitor, you have a DP cable, an HDMI cable and a power cable, which is a 90-degree connector for more convenient operation. Positives: - Excellent color accuracy - Excellent IPS screen with close to 100% SRGB, it helps with a lot of video and photo editing work, this monitor is much better than my previous one. - Superb screen resolution with no dead pixels - More screen real estate is always welcome, especially when you have video editing software open and you see a longer timeline and need to put more information on it. - Very good selection of ports - built-in DP, HDMI, USB hub. - FreeSync, HDR10, picture-in-picture and 75Hz functionality - yes, the panel isn't the fastest, but 75Hz is better than 60Hz, and HDR10 helps a lot with media consumption. - The adjustable metal stand and metal monitor arm are very durable and offer high quality. I personally use a dual VESA monitor mount and the S60A looks even better on it. with its narrow bezels - Smart eye-care mode that helps with eye fatigue, especially when you work late at night. Cons: - Not really suitable for gaming - Response times are slow and 75Hz is not sufficient for competitive eSports games. - A bit pricey - I know this is a high quality professional model but if the price was around $300 instead of $400 it would be a real killer. but that's more of a personal preference. In general. I really like this model, the colors are excellent and the QHD resolution is perfect for its size, it makes working with Davinici Resolve a real pleasure, that goes for all production software, I recommend it.
