At first glance, the cable appears to be stronger than most charging cables - at least twice as thick as what comes with the iPhone. The original Apple iPhone charger lasted over a year. I've used it the same way with my iPhone 7+ - unfolded or "crimped" and never twisted. When my device almost needed charging, it would sometimes plug into the charger while I was using my phone. But most of the time it was connected to my iPhone, it just lay flat, uncovered and straight on the surface of my bedside table. So WHY am I going to replace this Revain Heavy Duty Double Braided Charging Cable for the SECOND time? ? 6/1/19 I bought one; 3 weeks later it broke. On 5/2/19 I replaced it with this current red Revain charging cable. Once again he began his "journey" to utter failure. It began to close again; Every time it does that, it makes that awful "boop" sound that these phones make when you first plug it into a charger. get him back As soon as I buy the next one.
