This is a bulb for the Makita 18V BML185 4 position flashlight. My originals lasted quite a while and it was minor drop damage bad enough to pop the lens out which killed them rather than burned through. They were bright enough for my needs, didn't get very hot in the light, and lasted for hours. You can buy LED versions but it wasn't worth it to me. I'll just wait to get my whole LED flashlight with new reflectors when I finally kill my whole flashlight. If you haven't already checked, each flashlight should come with 1 spare bulb under the reflector. Unscrew the top like you are changing a lightbulb and make sure you don't miss it before buying new bulbs.
