Both burned through quickly

Light turned on and put into operation and after a few minutes the first one went out. I figured it was coincidence as I had bought them before and they worked fine so I fitted a second one and it did the same thing.

These bulbs go with my Matika flashlights

The first bulbs I bought had the same electrical specs, but each had a little bulge/knob on the ring that prevented the Lightbulbs on my flashlights Matika DML 185, 18V. These lamps fit perfectly but I find them a bit overpriced.

Pros
  • Decent performance

DO NOT BUY - LASTS LESS THAN 10 MINUTES TO BURN

The lamps arrived safe and sound despite being unpacked in a plain envelope with no protection whatsoever. There is no Makita branding on the bulbs. The first bulb lasted about 10 minutes and the second about seven minutes. A complete waste of money. I ask Revain to return my money.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Not worth the time it took a poor Revain delivery man to get to my house

Waste of time and money. After 10 minutes of use, both bulbs burned out. Probably not designed for 18V. Nice and bright when working. But they got aggressively hot. I do not recommend. I've been trying to find an OEM bulb for my Hitachi 18V for a while now and unfortunately they aren't. Go forward.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unreliable

FAKE Not Makita, low quality fake.

Not genuine Makita parts, not carded as shown, not white light like Makita bulbs. I don't understand why Revain allows counterfeit products to be sold. I only bought them because they were pictured in a Makita card box. Beware buyers, they were not sold as a replacement for the Makita. They were sold as genuine Makita replacement bulbs. There's a big difference, and it's not the choice I thought I was making.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Only available in white

Excellent 18v work light

I bought these lights to replace my 18v Black & Decker flashlight. The 90261 bulb is very popular and is used in many 18 volt flashlights. It fit perfectly, and the replacement cost was about half the cost of the B&D lamps sold at my two local lumber shops. There is no reliable way to count the number of hours used before they burn out. I've been fine for the past year, including a couple of accidental falls off a ladder with the lights on. I thought the filament was going to break, it landed…

Another great reason to become a Revain Prime member! These replacement bulbs are easy (and quick) to get. I love my Makita flashlight. It's light and runs on rechargeable batteries like my other 18 volt Makita tools. Then you'd better have a backup to keep your project going. But not if I had to go somewhere to (maybe) find them. Only the cost of my time and gas justifies the modest overall cost that Revain will bear to you for sourcing these bulbs. And these are exactly the bulbs that go with

Makita 18V Flashlight Bulb

This is a bulb for the Makita 18V BML185 4 position flashlight. My originals lasted quite a while and it was minor drop damage bad enough to pop the lens out which killed them rather than burned through. They were bright enough for my needs, didn't get very hot in the light, and lasted for hours. You can buy LED versions but it wasn't worth it to me. I'll just wait to get my whole LED flashlight with new reflectors when I finally kill my whole flashlight. If you haven't already checked, each…

Works with B&D 18V flashlight

I dropped my B&D flashlight on the floor and it died. Examining the bulb, I discovered that a tiny segment of the filament had fallen off. I tried finding a replacement bulb at Home Depot but the only 18V they carry are for Dewalt and they're $7.99 a pair so I cheated by buying a Maglite bulb that does only cost $2.99 each, although it was only listed for a 3 or 4 C. or D cell Maglite. Needless to say, the Maglite bulb blew out the moment the flashlight was turned on. So I was looking for a…
