The box was well packed and sealed with plastic. I received a color palette and 12 brushes. The colors are great. I've found that some colors are a bit thinner than others and some aren't full color bottles but definitely over 1 oz. I'm glad each paint bottle was sealed with white foam as the black flip top cap was a bit loose and could have spilled while driving. The smell after opening the box doesn't bother me, it goes away within a few days. I've mostly used it with a gel wrap on t-shirts and it's worked great. I tested it with a brush and it worked without any problems, I like to paint wet on wet. The paint dries quite quickly. I haven't washed the shirt yet. I wish it was neon red and blue. The gold paint is beautiful. I would buy this set again but the price went up $10 within 3 days of receiving my set. Why? Same sender and seller. The price goes down again or a discount is offered I will buy again. *Update* I didn't heat as it wasn't required. My transfer gel plate washed out quite a bit after 1 week of painting. My multi-layer ink transfer left only a "pull coat" on my t-shirt after washing. For this technique on a t-shirt I use Decoart Sosoft fabric paint, its color has not washed off after repeated washing. I suggest hot fixing this color and ignore her suggestion or else your beautiful drawings will be washed out.
