Review on Actuator Replaces 16124932 16177412 Trailblazer by Daniel Mandal

This is sold as a Mixed Door Operator and appears when searching for a mode door operator but is neither. It's actually a forced air drive. I bought it expecting it to work for the mode door and every time I plugged it in it instantly rotated in one direction to the limit and when a different mode was selected (face, legs, thaw) it rotated up to the stop. in the other direction. There were no stops in either direction. Eventually I put the old one back in place and with the new control panel the old one worked fine. Although all three actuators (Mode, Mix, Recirc) look the same and all have the same 4 pins on the connector and the same increment positions on the outer case, they certainly don't share the same internal wiring on the control board. I've actually plugged it in, removed the gears, opened and reinstalled it a few times to get it in the right position, but it kept coming out of the wrong position. Be careful when purchasing replacement drives because they are not all the same, no matter how they are advertised or how they look.
