Bought 2 years ago from a pet store. It was gross to clean but anything sitting in coconut dirt looks like it. so there is no star deduction for it. But one day we noticed that this normally filled plate/pool was empty. And all the dirt underneath got wet. I wouldn't, but if I did it would go moldy. So I threw it away and ordered a new one from Amazon. It also started leaking after just a few months. I thought it was written off as rude or something. I didn't really believe in it, but I didn't know what could be causing it. and this explanation has so far satisfied my brain. So I ordered another one. That being said they were all at a fair price and both were delivered quickly. just like 1st and 2nd, 3rd also kinda leaked. I'm so confused why this is happening! He doesn't move. Sit in the same place. Even when cleaning. (We literally use old toothbrushes to clean the ridges, which by the way works great if you need a new cleaning tactic!) But how the heck do they crack? Why? For one reason or another, they only seem to last a year or less. All I know is that I'm done with it. They might look prettier in the aquarium, but I'm switching to plastic!
