This dental floss stays on and won't snap on me. That being said, thread is great for tying bows that need to be squeezed tight, securing the cellophane of a gift basket, or when you throw a nut, bolt, or washer down the drain. Just tie a magnet to a thread, lower it into the sewer and you'll be fine. I'm sure you can think of other ways to use threads, but these worked for me.
